the reason city lose is when sides can move the ball faster than they can foul or that sides do the opposite to them. Spurs beat city cos they pressed the **** out of the guys taking ball off back 4. they really pushed onto fernandinho at the new toilet. They can lose to sides who have effective set piece as well. I have to honestly say i really dont think city are very good at the back.. but they play pep's game 70% possession if sides let them and then work as hard and as fast as possible to win it or foul. They back line rarely gets exposed and when it does they have the refs (see kompany clear red card unpunished v us) whens the last time you've gone oooohhhh harsh to a city player getting done... never.

Unfortunately a derby game in a title hunt is the least likely place for City to underestimate someone, or go easy.
I think that starting 11 will be all backs against the wall personally. Would not have started with Young, Fred, Darmian or Perreira. Many of our players have looked dead on their feet over the last couple of weeks, that may be the reason why they're playing.
