Boro, Forest, Leeds... Relatively easy to get to cutting our mileage for a season! Hope QPR, Norwich and Swansea go straight back down too for that reason ;)

On footballing merit... Birmingham, Brighton and Blackpool.

Brighton are my top choice for promotion (not just because of Lua Lua or even Craig Mackemslayer-Smith), but I have way too many Palace-supporting mates not to wish them up as well and it would be a huge turnaround for them after dodging relegation and administration these last two seasons. Let's just say I would love to see that derby played out on the PL stage next season, plus it would show those upstarts at Crawley Town how far they have to go before they can count themselves among the Surrey/Sussex big boys ;-)

Not sure about the third spot, though. Am torn regarding Birmingham - obviously I'd love Hughton to do well, it's just a shame he's found himself at yet another club with a suspect administration and no small number of unsavoury characters in their midst. Blackpool have already had their 15 minutes of PL fame. Won't cry if West Ham, Cardiff and Leeds fail.
