Are you all aware today is a palindrome, sort of? 11/9/11. In internet weirdo world, that's bound to mean something.
Because it happened on the ELEVENTH DAY of the NINTH MONTH. Comprende, hombre? No, they speak English. You are a ****ing idiot. **** me, you sound like the kind of person who watches Countdown and makes Flapjack with his Grandma instead of drinking and getting laid.
It may have happened then, but in america the grammar structure means that the month comes before the day. Therefore, they are right to use it. People complain about how the US/Muslim extremists force their beliefs upon others. Aren't you doing the same here?? If you want to get technical they speak English (de facto). This means more or less. They speak a variation of the language, as do a lot of Gordies, Scousers and many many more. If they spoke English (true) they would not have words such as Highway for Motorway, Pants for trousers, Chips for Crisps and hundreds of others! In fact i cant do that because my Grandma died of a brain tumour nearly 2 years ago you insensitive ****! I am guessing that getting laid and drinking makes you feel like a big man?? Well your language and attitude makes you look think as anything.
You're saying that the Americans put the date in that order because they put the date in that order, babyhornetdan. It's an utterly circular argument. Why do they put it in that order, when it's ****ing stupid to do so?
They put it in that order for the same we put it in the order DD/MM/YYYY. Why do we do that?? Who is to say that theirs is the stupid way? Surely they think we do it wrong?
They speak English. Geordies speak English. Scousers speak English. Tykes speak English. Southerners whine English. It's English. Because I obviously knew that. I wouldn't say that, but as I'm a similar age to you, I'd say it's certainly more manly than baking sessions with your Grandma. The irony.
We put it in that order because it then runs in the way that each increases. Days first, then months, then years. It's logical. Their version isn't. Who's to say that their version is stupid? Me. You quoted me on it.
But you also say September 11th. So why do you write 11/9 thats 11th September. So thats illogical. Neither are definitively right or wrong, it is just how the languages work. Like i said the Americans speak English (de facto) which means they do not speak (true) English, they speak a variation of it. Like the French all speak different versions based on the region of France they are in. Hence the Americans use the word Pants for trousers, Highway for Motorway as i explained earlier. Also, hence why there is English (US) on Microsoft word. They are different!!! I would not expect you to know it. But you meant to offend and you crossed the line with the comment. That may be so, but it does not make you big or clever! Yes i spelt a word wrong, it happens when you are touch typing!
No, you're assuming that I say September 11th. Even if that were true, it's not the date in numerical form, is it? Irrelevant.
I did not mean you specifically, i ment people. But it does not translate into words properly if it is written 11/9. The event is officially known as September 11th which translates as 9/11. But either way, why should this detract from the fact that nearly 3000 people were killed??
