Probably say Barca mate. More of a glamorous tie for us. Plus, from a pessimistic standpoint, I couldn’t bear losing to Pool in the final. From an optimistic standpoint, beating Barca would be ****ing special.
Comfort yourself in the knowledge that it isn't about whether or not City will win, but about by how many goals, yeah?
Barca. We lost and drew with them in the group, so it's only logical that the next result will be a win. Also, **** Liverpool.
Can't imagine many supporters of English clubs want to play an English team in the final just because of the sheer grief if they lose. Must be horrendous @BobbyD to confirm
I agree, ironically the hammering we administered on Sunday might in a round about way help the RS to the title. I said this to my lad during the game. As, United are now a wounded beast, their fans are angry and even more up for tonight than they would have been anyway imo. They’re going to demand a performance tonight, the place will be rocking & I can see the kind of atmosphere that made the RS bottle it there the other month. The players know they’re going to be called out if they don’t leave everything on the pitch & therefore they will, just watch. I predict a draw at best for City tonight. Cue the celebrations commencing at Castle Greyskull.
I cannot see beyond a City victory. They know this is going to be a tough match, and they will throw everything at this. Having whimpered out of the CL, no way will Pep let the title slip through his fingers. United are going to be subjected to the most vicious dry humping of the campaign. I have ordered in extra popcorn for tonight.
Must be a real dilemma for Utd fans, their two most hated rivals vying for the title. City will probably go at them from the off, try and get an early goal and shut the crowd up. I can’t see City failing to score at least one, they have too much firepower and Utd’s defence is ****e.
