    Not the best 25 minutes of football I've ever seen but a good result in the new time-reduced format. Think we should have kept the games at 90 minutes tbh.

    Ajax don’t play with a strict busparquet system which we always struggle against. Ajax will be expansive and move the ball quickly. You’re comparing apples to oranges

    I would have rathered Janssen scored by somehow timewasting it into the net but at the end of the day, scoring from a shot Ryan should have saved will do for me :D

    In today’s ludicrously hyper-inflated transfer market, £65m would probably be just about enough to buy a bang average Benteke type player. Pointless.

    God that was another difficult watch - but we got there, and we deserved to win, as Eriksen just said paying against teams with 10 at the back is very difficult, good to see us keep battling.

    Thought that in his little cameo Janssen made more meaningful runs than Fernando - might be tempted to start him on Saturday!

    We missed Sissoko or Winks today big time imo. No winks meant Eriksen was coming into his usual territory for the ball and not spending more time where he hit his goal from. Sissoko turns the ball from def to attack so quickly by driving forward. PotS for me. Should have bought CM back up at the start of the season. So lucky Wanyama can actually play longer than 30mins. Fantastic result.
