I was thinking about this last night. I can see the Villa game as almost meaningless, unless we lose by 2 or more goals to Blackburn and Leeds get a hat-full against Villa this weekend - both seem unlikely, as I am not bothered about winning the league (I think Sheff Utd are going to get it now)
If we lose to Blackburn and Villa Ipswich could feasibly let in 8 or more goals against Leeds on the final day . I believe we will convincingly thump Blackburn next Saturday and celebrate in front of our home fans .

A draw against Blackburn would be enough, but the pressure is off now and there should be a celebratory mood and it'd be great to go up with a win. If so, a draw against Villa would give us the title as well. As DF likes to say, let's be 'greedy'! OTBC!
I don't really like Sheffield United but they deserve to go up by holding their nerve , they have Ipswich next then Stoke last game. Poor old Leeds appear to have choked again big time Villa next then Ipswich. Out of the two I would rather go up with Leeds .
Probably will be a nervy first half with no goals and then a rampant City will up gears and close the game with a comfortable 3-0 win and we'll all go potty at the end. I hope I am right !!!
Think they will draw with the Villains DD so yes, looks like we are there but would be fab to win on Saturday to make absolutely sure and end our home games on a winning high !
May be a bit greedy but another 2 or more Pukki goals to put him over 30 would be nice . I would quite like the title too.
