    True but Carroll only did for half a season, what if he had done well and Man Utd had offered £33 million or something silly.

    Is he better than the world class Suarez? I think not. Suarez may have a strike rate in England that would make Leon Cort cringe but he is world class and Rooney can only dream of missing open nets with the panache Suarez missed his with yesterday. Just blame the linesman, eh?

    Suarez can take people on. Can't you see that he took on 6 United defenders in March so that = world class.

    Just like when Torres constantly gave Vidic nightmares after only scoring in 2 games out of 8 against him.

    Suarez is mint but you have to admit Rooney pisses all over him at the minute, Messi, Ronaldo, Rooney, switch to whatever order you want!! Suarez is nowhere near them!!

    If Rooney scored 50 goals a season do you think people would put him alongside Ronaldo and Messi?

    I certainly do. Messi has scored 60 more goals in the past 4 seasons than Rooney with 10 more assists. I think he is on another level to Rooney.

    No he does it in the Champions League as well mate. You have to admit he is from another world that lad. He would score 50 goals every season in England but I'm sure he would hit 40 in all competitions at least.

    Rooney is a better team player you dont catch Ronaldo or Messi blocking shots on their own goallines
