To get the City game out the way and staying 3rd. What a result. Need to do our work properly and all should be well
What a great weekend of results for us! Never thought i’d still be happy, despite us losing as well. Massive chance for others around us to go above us, with us playing the hardest game of the season away from home, but none managed to capitalise. COYS
Next up... United v City United v Chelsea Beat Brighton and West Ham and I reckon United will be out of sight with 2 still to play. Cue 2 draws and it goes to the wire...
They are but then again we can hope that they are saving themselves for the easier fixtures such as Newcastle and Arsenal.
Given how negatively Burnley set up and how ridiculously deep they defended (Barnes and Wood were on the edge of their own penalty box ffs), I thought it would only be a matter of time before Burnley's stubbornness would be broken down. They defended like their lives depended on it. But every time they cleared the ball, it kept coming back. Not pretty to watch, however, they took a good point away from home from our rivals, so I'm relieved. For all of Chelsea's possession and passing, I don't think they created a great deal. Hazard tried his best, but you can't keep relying on him for moments of magic when you're up against it. There were moments in that half when you thought to yourself "These lot are ****ed without Hazard" because, honestly, take him out of that Chelsea team and they really don't look like anything special at all.
Love the last 2 days results at 3:00 on Saturday I was convinced we would be 5th by now. Well played Everton, Palace and Burnley - Now its our turn and we must win tomorrow night to move ahead.
This weekend, yes. But your results over the past couple of months have been poor. You were within a few points of the top two not so long ago. As woeful as Utd have been, our final two games are Huddersfield (a) and Cardiff (h). Still a sniff of a chance, although Chelsea (h) next weekend will be pivotal. Arsenal have three out of four games away - and some of those are tough. Spurs look best placed (on paper).
4 teams battling it out for the CL places and all dropping points. Generous to call it a top 4 race, it's 4 pissheads fighting in 'Spoons toilet.
I did. I might not be able to predict any of the other results but when it comes to predicting top 6 sides ****ting the bed I'm ****ing Uri Gellar.
