As an aside, if any of you lads haven’t seen the BT Sports film, 2 tribes, about the City, it’s politics and it’s football in the 80’s, then don’t miss it, it’s utterly brilliant, brought back some really great memories that one. Even for you younger lads, well worth a watch.

I don't watch any other games but ours so I only tend to talk in any depth about Liverpool. I don't know much about any other team unless and until I look it up for the sake of discussion. If you live in the city of the team you support where there is also a local rival, you can't escape talking at some point and at some level about both teams.
It’s just a proper old fashioned ground. My Nephew grew up in Gosport but never been Fratton Park so to find a ground like Goodison, Bramall Lane was a joy for him. Will have to maybe sacrifice my Sheff Utd game at home next season so she can go Goodison again. Last time they were up she sat in PE in her top, got some banter but holds her own.
So then you must be aware of what I mentioned, the press, the passing, the target point up front to work off and use pace to support. Plus nothing les than 100%. If the people you talk with/hear don’t see that then are they watching/going to another game?

You're mistaking the sort of banter I engage in with in depth analysis. I've never had a footie discussion with friends or family about Everton's tactics. Tbh they mostly want to talk about Liverpool and most are fair minded blues. Btw you never answered the question as to what you think Everton's identity is.
**** hardy. he was a messer. still is to some extent. see shearer at Southampton or Torres at atletico for young players who you knew were class but didnt have the massive goals.at that point.

You haven't said anything about identity only playing style- if that's what you class as identity then I can't argue with it because I don't know your playing style.
All those fair minded Blues who get Everton out of the way with ‘sack the manager’ & then want to talk about Liverpool, but he lives in the City so he knows all he needs to know.
Problem is he’s their best player and when ever he doesn’t play well they have no one else that can create or score a goal. Maybe he’s a bad apple because he’s pissed that the rest of his team are ****?
