I remember Kevin Sheedy, Andy Gray and the like battering us but then that wasn't an average Everton side. No idea how long a contract they gave him to be honest. I don't imagine it being much less than three years. It was the timing that was wrong. They could have just let the season pan out and see where we ended up. Keep the 'players' (I use the term loosely in most cases) guessing. Obvious really.
I hope we sack Woodward. His incompetence over the last 5/6 years is so clear to see that in any other organisation he would've been booted out by now. He's nothing short of a virus within the club. I'm surprised fans aren't so vocal against him tbh.
Yep, spot on...... we did it with Shakespeare after a few good results post Claudio and only just survived. I just don’t want Ole loosing any respect ( he has so deserved) from the OT faithful....... From an obvious outsider looking in, he’s too nice for such a big job ?

I almost hope we get hammered again on Wednesday and the penny drops all round that this is a very long rebuild. Then, allow Solskjaer to get rid of all the hangers on and piss takers who are bleeding the club dry and putting **** all effort in (Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku, Martial etc.) and give him carte blanche to buy the players he wants. We should get enough money in from the likes of the bopping Frenchman and the fat Belgian waste of air to not worry about whether Ole then wastes that money. If he then does **** up the rebuild then so be it, at least he did it without the shackles and the pressure of having to buy 'shirt' sellers.
No point keeping the players guessing for the rest of this season only to find out at the beginning of next that they had sat on their laurels. At least we have now seen the true attitude and can keep/**** off as required over the summer.
Other than rising ticket prices I don't see what problem there is with the Glazers tbh. It's not like they're interfering with the running of the club or withholding money to spend. If David Gill was still there working under the Glaziers instead of that **** Woodward we would be in better shape on the pitch.

No mate there are plenty of United fans that have a problem with Glazers. Probably stems from the way they bought the club through debt initially. I can't see it myself. We had arguably our most successful period after they took over. For me, the problem lies squarely with fanboy Woodward.
Believe it or not, there are clubs mad enough to buy them. The only one we will struggle with is Sanchez but if we have to we can live with that.
Some true, but people's reputations are getting damaged from where I'm sitting. I wouldn't take any of them on a free transfer personally. Yes Pogba will sell, due to ridiculous commercial reasons but not sure about the rest.
