What was Balotelli doing in Osbourne's last night? Must have been out with or visiting Davide Santon (best mate from Inter). I said we shud have loaned him.

Wish I'd been out in toon last night. Always go to Osbournes to start....

It would make sense to sign another Italian to help Santon settle.....

I'd actually love him here for pure comedy value! <laugh>

Mike would never pay his wages though.

I don't know guys, maybe he's a lifelong toon fan and was merely using Man City as a stepping stone, I'm sure he'd be willing to take a pay cut. :D

He's probably the one footballer who i'd deem mad enough to pay to play for us!

Not that it's even on the table, but I reckon if we offered £50k per week towards wages and an initial loan fee then Man City would consider it. It's not like we're going to threaten their place at the top as in all likelihood our title challenge will have fallen away by January. Love a bit of random player speculation / dreaming.

They sold Adebayor to Tottenham and loaned Bellamy to Liverpool, I guess they're only considering Man Utd, Chelsea and maybe Arsenal as competition.

Give Citeh 4mill loan fees for him, Adam Johnson and Savic for the season, plus we pay 50k of their wages.

    It could happen...

I can't help but wonder why we didn't put a cheeky loan bid in for Adebayor, considering he went to Spurs where their wage cap sits at 60k a week. I suppose you could say spurs are battling for a Europa league spot; but there's no guarantee he'd be there next season...

I think Adebayor is quality, even though he always starts well at a new club until his form stagnates towards the back end of every campaign- he would have been perfect for just a season long loan!
