Think your right, it will get harder for us to loan good young players next year if we still are in this league
I wonder how many of our players are kicking themselves now knowing they could've been just 2 points behind Norwich with 3 to play. I said Wednesday would get a draw. Norwich are on a slump at right time, so are we, but at wrong time.
We don't know if we'll be in this league yet. If we are then we'll have to blood some of our own youngsters - at last.
Well I didn't see that coming up there with one of our worst performances of the season. One up at home against ten men playing a team with the poorest away record in the championship. It really seemed that we were the team with one light, truth is we were thirteen short as only one player came out of that game with any credit. A total & utter shambles ! Positives Luke Ayling Bamford's well taken goal Negatives The whole team with one exception Substitutions, what was Marcelo thinking ? Woeful defending Missed chances yet again Penalty miss Passing Crossing Corners/set-pieces Showboating Bullied off the ball far too easily No points Out of our hands again Can't handle pace, god help us at Brentford Crazy moments Dummy's/back-heels at 1-0, are we taking the p*ss Berardi's passing back to the keeper without looking, like a car-crash waiting to happen Pontus allowing the ball to run pass his with a Wigan forward running onto to the ball Alioski unable to stand up without tripping over his own feet Harrison beating himself without any intervention from a defender Ratings 4 Casilla 8 Ayling MOTM by a distance 4 Jansson 2 Berardi 2 Alioski 5 Phillips 4 Hernandez 3 Klich 5 Roberts 2 Harrison 5 Bamford Subs 4 Roofe 5 Forshaw 3 Clarke
Just looked at remaining fixtures & don't think we'll make it to auto's,four points each from remaining three games,to us & sheffield,Today could have just cost us our season
Just realised i am crap at predictions for i predicted at least a two goal win for us on Friday ,so their is still hope
If he had left phillips on and subbed forshaw for klich and clarke for harrison it might have made sense. What was he trying to acheive. Bielsa baffles me at times with his odd ways. O k so he has got the players fit or has he because they do not look it. Im up for work at six and still peeed off about our surrender. Ayling.. Harrison. Klich.. Alioski created nothing. Pablo took too much on and missed simple passes trying to be too clever. Looks like we dont have the bottle for autos. Dont fancy meeting villa in play offs either.
We have had mixed luck all season. Probably the best being lack of injuries. Last night was another case of mixed luck. Fletcher's goal to put them ahead was punched in with his left hand from a sitting position. I went for a pee at 94:50 with five minutes of injury time. Coming back I thought Sky had moved to highlights, then I saw that the clock said 97+. I have no idea where 2+ minutes of extra extra time came from. Of course the ref might have been aware by then of the handball and sort of levelled things up. Best of luck anyway lads I enjoyed my trip to ER back in your title winning season in 73. I probably brought you bad luck then, held to a draw by Spuds.
What if we do loan some good young players, just we refuse to play them !! Bielsa said himself,Blackman was the best keeper at the club at the time, and although it was 2 years ago and only 2 games I saw,Brown was probably the same.
The fact is LL, we lost, but we aren't dead and buried just yet. Granted our next two games are going to be tough. But we generally play better against the better sides. Sheff u have to win all their games and Ull away won't be easy and they won't want to need to go to Stoke away needing a win.
