Oh come on guys, the playoffs aren’t so bad... it’s 3 more exciting games to watch... well, if we win them.

Seriously, it’s not over. Everyone slit their wrists when we lost to the blades. Said then there’ll be twists and turns to come. Could be all change come Monday.

There’s a different kind of pressure on the team in second... they have it all to lose. The team in third has challenger mentality. The pressure is on the blunts again, let’s see if they choke... like we clearly did today. And that’s the worrying thing... because it was a choke.

Team sport psychology is weird... playing a team you know you should beat... them going down to 10 men. Panic sets in if it doesn’t go to plan. It’s when you need leadership and guys to step up. Didn’t happen. Get 1 and we probably get 5 today.

On another note... I knew that fcking annoying stat about not losing if we score first was going to do us before the season ended.

I am still so pissed off after the initial euphoria of an early goal and the fact that they were one man down. It just looked like a formality that we were not only going to win but also improve our goal difference. Just feel really deflated.

This isn’t knocking Bielsa but IF we reach the PL we’re going to probably need some flair players from the continent if we want to compete and many of these continental players are temperamental. I don’t know what the deal is or was with Saiz getting shipped out at ultra speed and Brown not featuring but I can’t help feel Bielsa has been a bit dogmatic over the pair.

My view on Saiz. Quality player when on it. Caused problems and drew attention when not on it... but was out of form when he was dropped and had obvious attitude problems.

Bielsa decider he wanted a winger so he could play Pablo at 10. When he didn’t get one he played Roberts at 10.

Pablo is our quality 10... but we don’t have a quality winger at the club imo. Clarke May well become one.

Also I rate Roberts but he’s obviously not the finished article.

In short, don’t think 10 is the problem, think lack of threat on the flanks, poor final ball, poor finishing up the problem.

Do I think that not adding to depth of quality in January is/was a problem? Yep. Going into the second half of the season with a Smaller squad than the first half? When you had a lean squad in the first place? Unforgivable to not seize the day... but the guy doesn’t have a pot to piss in.

It's not that I don't see Sheffield not losing points,it's just I see us only winning 1 of the last 3 <doh> was hoping for a 5 or 6 point lead to see us through.Maybe a Hull win and us draw monday <ok>

Was he out of form ? sure he wasn't as good as he can be,but we lost 2 from 16 when he started.Or to put it another way if we had played as bad as we did when Saiz played in the last 20 games,we would be about 10 points clear at the top.

He played very well at the start of the season... not commenting on the results particularly, he just wasn’t at his best prior to getting benched... which is probably why he got benched.

Morning all, I went back to bed.

If the budgies keep drawing and us and the Blunts both win our last three we would both go up at the cost of the budgies, just saying.

We we going to sign that winger from cardiif daniel james, would have been a great signing till the cardiff lot refused to sign the paperwork,as for saiz quality player but never played more than a year for any club says it all.

Maybe izzy brown will wow us all for the last 3 games?

Swansea, they won't like you calling them cardiff.
Would love Bielsa to swallow his pride and drop Klick or Roberts, and play Brown, just think he would give us something new that we are missing.Watched him rip us to pieces for Huddersfield and motm v man city in F A CUP for Huddersfield as well.

The first thing I was thinking when I saw that Roofe and Forshaw was to come on was, what the hell is Bielsa doing? And then I thought that ok, we are going for a strait 442. But no, Bielsa puts Forshaw in KB's spot and bring Roofe in as a number 10 WTF??? When the hell have that ever worked? Forshaw can't play in that roll and Roofe can't play as a number 10, end off!!! Dose not Bielsa know this??? I mean he has supposedly analyzed the hell out of the team and he has not seen this???

I think you're right, and we will always wonder if we would have gone up if we had.Can see us having problems if we don't go up,no money and no one wanting to loan us their best young players.
On the other hand, they let him down today, too many good 1 game **** the next.

Bit of both I think Shaks, since we lost Saiz we haven't been putting'em away as often, and we don't have anyone in his calibre around edge of box except Pablo.

Pablo's took on a bigger mantle than he's use too since Saize left.

What anyone thinks of him, he was an integral part of team.

Our loss was down to players thinking they were going to romp it in, and the effect was playing with complacency, imo.
