no, it got changed when Liverpool won it but finished 5th and Everton got 4th, that's why Tottenham got the Europey.
Is Koulibaly all that ? He’s being touted as a £70m transfer this summer, but what I saw of him over the two games didn’t suggest that. He’s solid enough, but nothing special.
It’s cos no country is allowed more than 5 teams in CL. So top 3, EL winner (If not in top 4), CL winner (if not in top 4) The sixth spot is allocated to France so they can have a third spot, which is how Lyon got in this season.
Id imagine it’s only not France if the CL and Europa League winners come from France and finish outside the top two, which is highly unlikely. Apparently they’re the next biggest league after the ones who get allocated 4 spots (Spain, Germany, England, Italy).
Sounds like a middle-eastern dish. I imagine a Koulibaly to be a flat dough with a filling of mince inside baked in a stone oven by Berbers somewhere in the Sahara. Delicious though.
Apparently the PSG owners have offered to supply the labour to fix Notre Dame. It’ll be fixed inside 6 months and will also take care of France’s immigration problem.
Especially after our ****e away record this season. Two wins, two clean sheets with three more away games to come this season.
yeah, it's worked out on the coefficient of how the teams from the relative national leagues do in Europe over a set number of years (5 I think). England, Italy, Germany, Spain usually have a team or 2 in the Q/F of CL and Europey, so it comes down to whether PSG have had a better 5 years than the teams from Holland.
So four English teams in the semi finals of the European comps this season and in with a great shot of a trophy. Anybody want to make a prediction on who will lift one ?
