Embleton will be an asset and we should make every effort to keep hold of him.
I think it was a good idea at the time for them to get the experience of going out on loan, as we were strong and had a lot of cover in that area. It just happens that we've had more injuries to the midfielders and in hindsight they could have stepped in. I like Molyneux and I think he could have replaced Watmore after he got injured but he's at Hartlepool now and he will be one to be pushing for a place next season. Ethan Robson was unlucky with injuries just when it looked like he was about to get into the team but then we signed Leadbitter so a loan seemed to be the best for him.
I also thought that Bali Mumba might have played a few more games after looking the part early in the season but maybe this league is too physical for a 17 year old.

Chris Maguire is available for selection this Friday as Sunderland take on Doncaster Rovers.
The midfielder, who suffered a fractured fibula in the Black Cats’ Sky Bet League One match against Gillingham in February, is available once again following a week’s training under his belt.
Maguire’s return comes as a boost to manager Jack Ross, who will be without Aiden McGeady, Reece James and Adam Matthews for their Good Friday clash with Rovers.
Speaking at his press conference today, the Scotsman shared his delight to have the 30-year-old at his disposal once again.
“Chris has had a full week of training so we’re hoping he will be back in the squad,” he said.
“He has been out for eight weeks now, but we hope to have him in and around the squad on Friday.
“He only just started training at the back end of last week so it’s not easy because he has been out for eight weeks.
“He knew his touch was a little bit off it when he first came back because he hasn’t done anything.
“Having this full week of training is good for him and now he is getting closer.”
He continued: “Lee has had a full week of training too so that is him back to full fitness.
“Dylan (McGeouch) remains out and there’s still only a few others who have only just returned to training today.
“Aiden (McGeady) is still a big doubt for us as well. To get what we did out of him last week is testament to his want to play but it’s not ideal."

Can't make this one but I have a feeling those who go will enjoy it.

3-0 to Sunderland, clean sheet and everything back on track.

    Peterborough here we come ....

Chris Maguire simply can’t wait to get back out onto the Stadium of Light pitch tomorrow night.
The midfielder, who has been sidelined with a fractured fibula since February, is set to be back in the squad for Sunderland’s Good Friday clash with play-off contenders Doncaster Rovers.
Defeat last time out to Coventry City has ramped up the pressure on the Lads, who slipped down to third, going into the Easter weekend and with just five games left.
Maguire’s return will undoubtedly provide a boost to the Black Cats’ hopes of climbing the league once more, and speaking to safc.com earlier this week he shared his delight at being back in the mix.
“I’ve had a bit of time out of the team which for any footballer is never enjoyable,” he said.
“You want to be playing and having your say. I’ve always backed myself to go out there and prove to people that now’s my chance.
“The injury was tough to deal with, but the recovery process has been a bit different. It’s felt quick at times and slow at other times, but if I’m honest I’m just glad to be back on the grass and kicking a ball again.”
“It’s a tough run-in and that’s now even harder because of the last two results.
“We’re disappointed with how they’ve panned out because we’d like to have a bit of a bonus on other teams.
“That isn’t the case, although, we do have a game in hand over Barnsley.
“At the end of the day, it is in our hands. We know if we win all five games, we know what the outcome is going to be.
“It is a five-game season. We have to take one game at a time. We have got the players, the belief in the changing room and the support that can back us and push us on.
“I thought on Saturday watching the game the support was brilliant. They made a real noise, but that needs to continue against Doncaster Rovers.”
