I kind of did too when I was 12. Played for a very good team that had a few players make it as professionals in lower leagues.. I was a very fast runner but essentially **** at football and played right wing. I won the ball on the half way line ran a couple of metres and played what I hoped would be a long deep inswinging cross to the edge of the box. The ****er buried itself it the top left corner of the goal. Was truly sublime.
And claimed full credit like a boss I played RB, the go to position if you're not very good at footy (other than goalie).

I was terrible at football, had zero skill but no ****er could keep up with me they used to pass it to me I’d knock the ball on along the line sprint past a few people and the manage would just shout cross it. That’s all I ever did until I got replaced by a midget with one ear bigger than the other who went on to play for Shrewsbury.
