The post also says that we don't seem to be missing Kane and that was the part to which I was referring about being spot on and Son is stepping up. That's the part I said a while ago and I was told I was talking rubbish, now someone else says it and he's liked...............strange. I daresay I'll post something soon that some will say is rubbish but I'll look behind me and see them playing catch up.

Poch will be wishing he'd been a bit nicer to Janssen

2 important words in my post that you appear to be missing - 'as much'

It was TCM who suggested that I post on here again, so he was bound to like my post, but he also knows that I do not advocate selling Kane and that I still think that he is an extremely important player for you in the long term. In fact the points he made in his last post were insightful of my views because we had talked at length about it on Wednesday.

Lucas filled that role reasonably well last weekend

I’ve felt this for ages. What’s frustrated me is that we are reluctant to taking Kane off when things aren’t working. We should be using this attacking style with Son leading the line more often, as it causes unplanned headaches for our opposition.

What difference do the words "As much" make? Since when have we missed Kane at all when he's injured? We've now scored 8 goals in his absence and how many teams score 3 against City? 5 wins in 7 the other time he was out and now 2 wins in 3 whereas we were struggling for goals when he came back from injury and had to wait until the Palace match to score 2. There is something about Kane's presence that hinders the others because Moura's scored 3 and Son has scored 3.

If, as you say, he's an important player for us in the long term then something has to change, I'm not sure what.

I suggested taking Kane off and moving Son farther forward and "Genius" from Maggie I think it was came back amongst other remarks and now you've just suggested as much.

You also suggested selling Harry Kane. Repeatedly.

You forgot to mention that little detail...

I agree with Roo about the only issue being if Poch is brave enough to swiftly switch to Son if Kane is not working

Anyway ive started to calm down now and im becoming myself therefore

    2 points

Eriksen lacks bottle if you ask me...he shat his pants but by God was he lucky it was given offside. Compare him to Son...who oozes big game mentality. A fascinating night from us all...but i expect our senior pros to have more about them than what Eriksen showed in the final minutes...i even feel it in his interviews, demeanour a bit introvert and it kind of tells at times on the pitch

Yes Lloris made some great saves but i felt he was vunerable at his near post again....Think he had already predicted where the ball was doing and seemed to have dived before the shots were taken...id say that about Sterling's 2nd and Aguero's goal.

I agree completely on Eriksen. It was a repeat of Inter away. We've got the ****ing game won with barely a few minutes to go, so just...

BELT THE ****ING THING UP THE PITCH....

...don't try and play football like we're chasing the game with half an hour to go...

BELT THE ****ING THING UP THE PITCH....

...preferably out of play for a throw in, so that lose a few seconds and can get our shape back

As good as Eriksen is, and he can be excellent, there's something missing from his game - that absolute hunger to win at all costs and...

BELT THE ****ING THING UP THE PITCH.

Yeah i feel it too much with him. I was shocked at the amount of grass he had to boot that ball into but he turned around(shudder) and put it back into the danger area...thats a meltdown mate...instinctively he tried to give it back from where it came in other words 'hey, dont give me the ****in ball' seriously i felt his weak will whilst i was hiding behind my couch.

Hope Poch sorts it...i doubt he can.

If CE hasn't worked it out by now, I doubt that he ever will.

He plays the same game at all times. If we're a goal down, that single mindedness is great, when you're an away goal up and seconds away from a CL semi-final it's ****ing lunacy.

There are times for retaining possession in your own final third of the pitch...to any sensible game plan, that moment wasn't it. I bet that he'd do it again in the final, though. It's who he is.

Eriksen has no mental composure when there is CM chaos.
Without team-mates to hold/protect the ball on his behalf, he is lost.
Add to that his aversion to make vaguely meaty challenges, and he
    becomes a liability.

I think that whether CE wants to go or not, he needs to be sold in order to start funding the purchases we now need, much in the same way Liverpool did with the sale of Coutinho.

According to Verts, the players' response when Sterling "scored" was (after picking themselves up off the floor) to get back up and say "Right, best twat it into their box and see what happens"

Given there were 2 minutes left, I'm all out of possible alternatives.
