It was pretty incredible throughout. I'm hoping that the Ajax match will be equally atmospheric, despite their being less needle there. Shouldn't be an issue, as it's a Champions League semi-final.
It will be fantastic. And trip to AmDaM. City played some fantastic stuff but you held on in there despite injuries etc. And Son’s workrate was incredible tracking back. It was like he was playing City on his own.
Son's the perfect modern player. Always a threat, always working hard, great skill and a fantastic engine, yet humble and with a permanent smile on his face. A manager's dream and a chairman's wish, as he combines all that with attracting the Asian audience. He seemed extremely grateful for the opportunity to win the Asian Games and cut down his national service, which Leverkusen denied him. We missed him early on in the season, but he's made up for it since. Immense.
I almost feel bad for city... Imagine after this valiant attempt for the Quadruple if all they get left with is the League Cup...
Ajax will be excited now they are into the CL final. No one had predicted they would have made it there 6 months ago.
That would be bad. Even lowly Spurs in their similar season (1981-82) ended up with the FA Cup after losing the League Cup final.
I really rate Son. That goal he scored against us a couple months back where he basically mugged off our entire defence was class.
You're not fooling anyone with this false humility/Shanghai shuffle double-bluff reverse jinx bollocks Dan
Put yourself back to 1976 and 2003 and you'll know where I am coming from. Expected better from you young man
