So, after a successful summer where we've strengthened a lot in all the areas we needed strengthening in, where do you think we'll strengthen in January or next summer?

I can see possibly another attacking midfielder, and that would probably be it. Unless we sold then obviously I can see replacements for them.

What managerial problems. Kenny has been a revelation.

1 x Prolific Goalscorer (big name if we get into CL)
1 x fast winger (Eden Hazard springs to mind)
    1 x DM (M'vila)

    Thankyou, that is all.

That would be good business for next Summer. <ok>

Didn't M'Villa just sign for someone though?

Wenger baulked at M'Vila due to his age( He is more than 14) and the price, His club wanted more than £3.50.

I'll eat my own head if Hazard signs, all murmerings support that he'll be moving to Spain or Italy.

I think M'Vila would be a good shout - would provide real depth to the DM position and compete with Lucas. Spearing has all the heart but just lacks that bit of quality to make him a good player.

Hazard would be a fantastic buy but I feel this would be more unlikely than M'Vila because all of the top teams in Europe would be looking for his signature I reckon.

Both players are young and talented which falls in line with FSG's policy, and adds to the signing of Coates.

i think its easier to just wirte a list of who needs to go next and let comolli and knney decide who comes in.

I say make a list of our lot simply as every outgoing so far has been logical and obvious the the fans so the next lot should be no different.

    here's my list.

    1. Kuyt. Sorry old boy but at 31 your time is just about up and your lack of pace is glaring, especially since the guile to componsate is not there.
    2. Carragher as above. legend etc etc but there comes a time for everyone.
    3. maxi. Again as above, a bit more quality and technical ability but lacks the pace to make the difference.

you take those three and improve in each position by the quality we got in with suarez, coates and say downing... welll you get the picutre in my mind.

I'm not sure I'd want to get rid of them just yet as I feel they would add strength and more importantly experience to the squad. But I do think we need to phase them out and become less reliant on them (Carra and Kuyt in particular).

Okay.. consider money isn't a problem (within reason) and we get Champions league next season, which 1 player would you want us to sign?

Obviously players like Messi etc.. are out of the equation.

I'll stick with what has been mentioned. Hazard and Eriksson the two big ones.
Maybe Giuseppe Rossi as a striker if he does well again this season.

The two definites to go are Maxi and Aurelio, and Carra's work-load will be lessened. He'll be like Sami, not a regular but useful when called upon. The loanees ie Joe Cole and Aquilani will be off-loaded permanently.
I reckon Liverpool will sign 3 players next summer.
    A pacy right sided winger.
    A centre back.
A striker. Three big money signings. Three signings that will get us closer to being a title winning team. We're about 65-70% there, but just need that added quality.

    IN
-Attacking Midfielder(unless Gerrard is gonna be playing there when he remains fit)
-Another striker(to compete with Carroll and also cover for Suarez, im aware we have Bellamy but still)
-Time to bring Youth Players into the fray as subs maybe?Would have been interesting to see how sterling would have tested Stoke on Saturday though hes still quite young.

    OUT
    - Maxi is gone after this season, believe he wants to return home?
    - Aurelio - Think he is on a 1yr contract
    - Aquaman(Will be sold)
    - Cole(Unless he has a blinder in france and proves he still has something up his sleeve)

That question depends on how is actually available.

look at how utd moved for young with one year left on his deal... how stoke got upson for nothing, how we picked up adam for a decent fee with one year left... even suarez was similar.

for me money no object the answer has to be round the likes of villa who some say is not quite making it at barca (god knows how they say that mind but there you go)

I think we've done well right now but if we are in the CL then I think we seriously need to be looking at guys who are on the up though... mata going to cheslea is one example, sila to city, aguero... basically oall of these guys became available when we were out of it and have gone so the next wave of that type is what i'd like to see, is that hazard? not so sure....

Villa will be 30 nearly 31 next september though, I can't see us paying money for someone that old - fair enough we got Bellamy, but he was on a free and took a massive cut in wages.

Hazard I would like to see, I'm convinced we need a winger who can cut in superbly, someone along the lines of Ronaldo and Nani for United. Marko Marin would be nice to have.
