Had to watch the game on my phone (long story), launched it across the room when Eriksen gave the ball away and Sterling 'scored'. Phone hits the corner of a shelving unit I don't even bother picking it up. I'm sitting on a chair, head in my hands, contemplating life without Sissoko. Then i hear an almighty cheer from my next door neighbour who other than the fact that we both support Spurs and pay tax we have nothing in common. Wait a minute, I think, that doesn't add up. So I quickly boot the laptop to see that the goal was disallowed! Euphoria isn't the word. Phone screen is fecked: as shattered as Pep's little quadruple dreams. But I don't care. And I'm telling the insurance the true story even though I know they'll take a hefty excess for what amounts to wanton destruction. But I don't care. Because Sissoko lives.
