We need to slow the game down, control possession and take the sting out of the start of the half. We couldn't get out of our half or keep the ball after Llorente came on though, so I'll be surprised if we manage it.
I’d get Davies on for Rose, much better defender. Rose a better wingback but he’s barely left his half so pointless him being on. Davies adds solidity to that backline and that’s what we need.
He hasn't really recovered from his part in City's first. Didn't pick up Sterling and has looked rattled ever since. Rose by contrast was at fault for their 2nd but he has some fight in him which is good to see.
The issue is we don't possess enough players who are comfortable and composed on the ball to do that. Beyond Eriksen and Jan or Toby (but weirdly never both in the same game) there isn't anyone I would trust in possession for more than 2 seconds.
For the 1st time in my life I had to leave watching the game, my heart rate was dangerously high at 3-2 but the dog enjoyed the walk
We need more mayhem in the second half and hope we come out on top, it's our best chance. We'd struggle to get the better of them even if we didn't have 4/5 key injuries, the fact we're still in this is something to be proud of. COYS
