Olofinjana hasn't figured in any NP team to date. He's been out on loan at Cardiff where he started well; later he came back to us but has been injured. What usually happens is managers try and give a player they see no future for some "shop window" time. From this opportunity the player will be looking to impress which would be good for City and the player. I don't see Oli being around until after January, his wages are not the HCAFC norm any longer. McShane's aren't either but we've a use for him as defensive cover. Perhaps a struggling PL outfit will take a punt in January yet beforehand he may be handed a start or two..
In an iterview i saw when he first left he said he didnt get picked in the relegation season as his wages would go up a few grand so if he waives that he may play if he wont then he will be straight back out again.
His face either does not fit. He was already City before NP, therefore NP will NOT consider playing him. His wages could also be too high. He will be on his way out of the club once back to full fitness, probably on loan first then maybe permanently in January. I'd love to keep him and play him in place of McKenna or Evans.
In spite of himself, NP played Bullard last season so I don't see why it's so ludicrous that Oli might play a game or two.
No. Next topic! Olifinjana is rapidly becoming the new Jimmy BUllard???? Move on. That one is in the past
Apart from the fact he has never acted like a **** . I have no animosity what so ever towards Oli , unlike Bullard , but as stated don't think he'll ever wear the black and sonic gold ever again . Hope I'm wrong but I don't think so .
Ha ha, thats funny, sorry buddy for the double take thing. Deano is my hero and memories of that day the picture was taken will remain with me for life UTT
