We troubled their defence in the first 10 minutes but failed to score when we could have done. After that they took total control. Their defence definitely isn't the best but their pressing and ball retention is excellent and when they get the ball to the front three you're in trouble. The quality of 2 out of the 3 finishes was world class. Will be a good tie between them and Liverpool. I suspect Messi may find a way to dribble past VVD at least once so that stat can be put to bed!
Rashford showed that you can get at them but there was no other ****er anywhere near him, IF we play them then we will have numbers in attack but getting enough of the ball is the problem. We're not going to sit back though we would go at them and try and pressure them into mistakes. I'm really excited to play them so I hope it doesn't all go wrong tonight.

Embarrassing. One thing I hate about PL football is that every ****, regardless of how clueless they are, has an opinion. They've watched part of a game or heard something on Sky Sports News and they think that qualifies them as an expert. When United lose a "big" game I get texts from people who I haven't heard from since the last time United lost a "big" game and who have spent the interim period watching rugby.

The transfer activity and player management under LVG and Mourinho was really poor. Last night we had Young at LB while Daley Blind was playing there for Ajax as they beat Juve away from home! People say that City's achievements aren't all that because of how much money they've spent but if you look at who Guardiola has bought, they've largely been quality players and he gets the best out of them.
