That was a weird thing to admit to taking to a game - very healthy but odd

 

I was at the derby that year it really kicked off at the SOL. 2008, I think. I was right next to the barrier where the Newcastle fans were. It was mainly kicking off at the front behind the goal and I remember keep turning my head as one of their fans was reaching into a bag and then he whipped out his ham sandwiches in this packed lunch box he'd brought along and I just remember thinking how surreal it was as people were literally throttling each other just metres from where we were and he was getting a touch of the munchies.

You might remember actually. Someone trawled up an Italian restaurant in Glasgow whose owner left really insulting replies to any even mildly critical reviews on Trip Adviser so people on GC started spamming it with reviews. It was all very obviously made up and everyone pretended that the food was excellent but the manager was a pain in the arse. Anyway, he was fizzing and calling everyone liars. Eventually he found out where the reviews were coming from, opened up an account and asked everyone to stop. Which they did. That was five years ago and he's still open so no harm done
