the roofs gone in and ruined the pillars. theres shag all holding the side walls up so it's all ****ed. only the front two towers are left.
Believe me it's my job. Church stonework is usually ok, it will need supporting until the roof timbers are back in, but is repairable. We dealt with York Minster when that had a serious fire and it was all rebuilt, as have many other churches.
yeah but there's a stone arched roof and all the upper **** fell in on it and that's probably collapsed it. guy on sky was saying York wasn't half the fire. we will see eventually when the thing is safe to look inside etc.
Knave is a jack in cards. Nave is in a Church. God must have been having a night off. Did you know that Liverpool Anglican cathedral is the 5th or 6th largest in the world?
No doubt. Of course, I can see the point - loss of life takes it to a different level, but the destruction of a beautiful building with cultural and historical significance rates as a type of tragedy to me. It can be rebuilt, but still a sad sight to see it destroyed.
Been playing a footy game on my phone. I'd taken the decision to leave my current club (Stoke) and therefore had to go. Only got two offers though; Man Utd or Chelsea. Guess that's the end of that game!!!
