Our defence and midfield is better, this should give us a solid foundation and core to the side as shown so far this season.
0-1 toon. Easy three points. I saw QPR against Wigan and they were really poor. Tara is a obviously a threat but hasn't performed in the EPL yet, and who else would get in our team? Barton. That's about it. I know we have a poor strike force but it's better than theirs. Tommy Smith and Bothroyd or Best and Ba. I know who i'd sooner have.
I wonder who the first player to clatter Barton will be? I reckon it'll be Cabaye. Not concerned about Taarabt in the slightest.
I think it all relies on what type of game QPR play. I'd go with a 4-2-3-1, gotta keep defensive to cut off their midfield from the target men. If Santon starts, I think he's gonna be thrown into the deep end even though that's not necessarily a bad thing. Expect the likes of Tiote and Cabaye to get stuck in to Barton in that midfield and I expect quite few bookings in favour of QPR, Tiote will probably get caught out by SWP (if he's playing).
Heart says easy win to Newcastle 4-0 but my head says this is Newcastle we'll find a way to mess up so that said I reckon 1-0 to us or 1-1

Either way, it's nice to be playing the promoted side instead of being the promoted side. Doesn't stop the likes of Paul ****ing Merson saying we have no chance in staying up, people never learn.
QPR have lost 4-0 and 2-0 to two teams not exactly renowned for their attacking prowess. We can win (or at least not lose).
Hopefully Pardue will be the same, but somehow I doubt it. I think that we will win. I've gone for 3 - 2 in our prediction competition, with Barton getting the winner. That is just the way that football goes. Pardue may have a problem setting your team up against us. We are all guessing as to what formation and who will play where after our influx of new signings. Undoubtedly we will be lacking some understanding all over the pitch, but we do have match winners on the field. It should be a fascinating match.
It was a 100 mil for us when I was watching the other day. His criticism of buying players unproven in the Prem is unfounded, surely if the likes of Cabaye didn't have what it takes we would of noticed it from the first game he played, it's not like a foreign player is gonna go from amazing to ****.
