Long way to go yet ... but really thought we had ****ed up any chance of 7th with that shambolic display on Friday ... and yes I'd happily take a sojourn in the Europa ... Europe doesn't come around that often for clubs our size.... <cheers>

Just because he’s right there’s no need to insult the poor bloke.

“Whenever I play Arsenal, I'll go up and think, 'let me whack the first one and see who wants it.'” - Deeney, 2017.

I suppose they've paid what is a lot of money for a player who never played for them, is it that Nantes are being the ****s? There seems to be a question as to whether the transfer was complete and if that's the case what are the rules?

The unfortunate thing is that it's now being played out in public and that is down to both clubs and is a real shame.

If they’re telling the truth and he wasn’t a registered PL player then they’re in the right IMO. Don’t know why they’re being painted as the bad guys.

Cardiff bought the player, had every intention of him playing for them and for all intent and purpose he was a Cardiff signing. They'd even used the same pilot and plane previously to fly Warnock to Nantes. So this is Cardiff's issue for me. Nantes had agreed to sell him and the process was complete (albeit from the technicalities that are being disputed)

For me it comes down to morals. Cardiff have the moral responsibility to settle the debt they owe Nantes and it just looks really dishonourable of them to refuse to pay up because the poor lad was killed in an air crash.

Dunno man. If you’d ordered some organic kale and the delivery guy crashed his van and fell into the sea before you’d received it, would you expect to pay for it?

There maybe arguments to be had but the least both clubs could do is sort this out behind closed doors.

Thought somebody would use an example like this.

This isn't an object, commodity or something that can simply be replaced with another 'unit', this is a human life we're talking about. The morally correct thing to do here in my opinion is to honour the deal that was agreed, as it just comes across as incredibly crass to try and get out of paying because the lad died.

Could you not flip that same argument on Nantes and say forget about it because it’s a person rather than an object? He’s a contractor or employee. It’s sad but it happens.

I get the impression it’s not Cardiff publicising things either.

I’m not his biggest fan, But he’s right though, Arsenal parked the bus for most of the game against 10 men Watford.

Cardiff should just pay up. Someone summed it up earlier in the year. Cardiff were going to sign him, they took pictures with him, he died because he was taking a flight to cardiff and worst of all, cardiff had all them tragedy things, their fans call him one of their own and now they want to disown all that?
