    Because 9/11 doesn't make any sense.
    If it did, then they'd put the year first and it would be 1/11/9.
    Days/months/years makes sense, as would years/months/days, but not months/days/years.

    Who says it does not make sense?? Using the English language maybe, but they dont speak English, they speak American. Its a whole other language and different grammar.

    It is the English grammar structure which makes 11/9 right, but the attacks happened in the USA which means the date uses the American grammar structure which makes 9/11 right.
