All dayer yesterday. Felt a bit fragile this morning but not too bad now, just the paranoia to contend with

took the mutt out earlier for his main walk of the day and as normal it buggered off to chase squirrels in the line of trees alongside the path i was on. Then thru the trees saw him go into the area past the trees which is a bit of land that the river curls round ,a lot of which is at the same level as the water,. about 5 mins later she finally reappears in the trees and even from there i could see she was soaking. Naturally i assumed she had been in the river but no the little sod must have found some standing water on the land and had bee wallowing like a hippo in a mud bath and naturally she looked happy as anything.
The little ****er still stinks even after i turned the hosepipe on her when we got home.

 

And this is why I will never own a dog

 

and yet despite my moaning we're on our 4th .

 

What breed is it and does it live in the house ??

 

Border Collie and yes though not so much today

 

Ah Collie's are notorious for finding any kind of water and jumping in it, intelligent dogs though

I used to have a dog that liked rolling in cow-pats. That wasn't great.

 

Border Collies are even quicker than combine harvesters

Isn't the theory they do that to enable them to creep up on their prey or at least thats where the instinct comes from.Thankfully mine seems just to favour muddy "puddles" .

My Mrs and daughter went on a hen party in York this weekend. Mrs parting words were "make sure you take the dog out". So I did...we went to my favourite pub and she made friends with a few other dogs and had a great time.

I also took her for a few long walks, mainly as punishment as the bitch never bought a round when we were at the pub!

 

Same here. Apart from 2 handed bat sports (batting in cricket, or hockey for example) where I would be left handed.

Unusual, but defo not unheard of.

 

My niece and nephew are like it. One is right handed and left footed, the other it's left handed and right footed.

My youngest is left handed but right footed. Other two are normal
