Important point to ensure that gap over SU. Our winning the title is still very much in our hands but play like this again and we will open the door for Leeds. Bah!

It's still a big point. Looks like the penalty was dubious, but their disallowed goal was harsh to balance it out somewhat. 7 points rather than 6 makes a difference. Sheffield have 4 games in which to better our result 3 times.
Wigan played well but we failed to adapt to it until Vrancic and Leitner came on suddenly we stopped giving the ball away and posed a threat. Keeping the same side after a win is one thing, but after a draw and then another draw is quite another. If we leave Vrancic and Leitner out on Friday I'll begin to lose faith big time.
I wouldn't go that far, but if Farke is going to be a managerial great he needs to be more confident in his use of the squad. The subs today worked, but they could have come 10 mins sooner. Twice in two games we've been improved by changing the central midfielders, and I think McLean looked better in a wide role for the final 10 mins or so today than in the proceeding 80.
We have come up against 2 teams fighting for their league survival. Both have played with a packed defence and a energetic pressing system. It looks as if we can’t get round this way of playing and two draws is perhaps as good as it gets. In my view, Sheffield Utd have got to win all their 4 remaining matches to pip us to second automatic promotion.
Not religious, DD. DF's stubborness about keeping the same line-up and delaying substitutions worries me more and more.
