Wigan have gone for the press and they’re working quite hard

 

Really poor first 20 odd minutes. Passing and first touch have been so bad across the board. Need to snap out of this soon.

 

So hopefully tire pretty soon.

 

Krul's kicking....It's either straight out for a throw or straight to a Wigan player.

 

Scrappy game. High press, both teams can’t string passes together.

Yeah though tends to be right at the end of the first half and then towards the end of the second half

 

From the opening 30 minutes, you could be forgiven for thinking we were battling for survival and Wigan were battling for honours. very strange - we need someone to get a grip on the game.

 

Most impressive person on the pitch for me so far is the referee - very fair

 

Trybull has been our best player so far

McClean having one of his worst

 

Wish we would just string more than 2 passes around for a bit. Everyone is just giving the ball away as soon as they get it.

Pukki, how have you not got on the end of that. That's the good sign. Done only 2 good things, and it should be 2-0.

Stiepermann is playing ok too but he keeps trying to force the really difficult wonder ball

Would prefer him to keep it simple

Yes. Preston. It’s just the high press. We’ve had a couple of really good chances too. They won’t keep it up all game.
