In the Times today, when several were asked asked which F1 race in the history of F1 was their favourite, guess what, when others quote a race that inspired them as children, he quoted his first victory. Very self centred. He has been coached for the media but still a massively selfish streak.
No, but he hasn't won yet (this weekend that is). Still to see if he can keep this up. If he is overtaken it will be interesting to see if he fights back, then we will know.
That's the funny bit. If he has been coached, as I would expect, he still comes across as very self centered. OK so racing drivers do need a 'killer instinct' behind the wheel but they need a bit of personality as well. That said he does seem very popular. So maybe it's like Dick Dastardly, in that you like to see villains
I don't see why the others should have respected it, they would failed to get a lap in, he made the kind of space they would have had behind him, so they likely would have missed a lap, because he was going too slow earlier on in the lap.
I would say Lewis doesn't get on with the 'soft' compound but he likes the 'medium' Which is what he is starting on. So could be interesting.
I don't like him but he is good for the sport, F1 has always had its villians, Undoubtedly he will be WDC one day, just hope it is not until he matures and becomes a genuine human being. Got to go for a pint.
Mercedes should win this but you never know after last race when Ferrari chucked away a 1-2 after Qualifying. Hopefully one of the Ferrari's jumps a Mercedes at the start.
Hopelessly incompetent at the top. Unfortunately they still run it like a Mafia. They need an intelligent leader like Brawn to cut through all of their bravado and get the right calls made. What the **** did they think they were doing with Le Clerc? They effectively just lost him 12 seconds by protecting an ailing Vettel.
This has been one of the worst Grand Prix for ages! Can someone stop their car somewhere and cause a Safety Car?!
So... Rosberg quit F1 because he wanted to spend more time with his family, yet now spends race weekends at the track talking cac. Eh?
I’ve just about had it with Crofty. Watching F1 on sky now is like watching it with a casual fan just talking about it whilst the race goes on. I know it’s boring crofty but can you just commentate on the action and do your job?
Absolutely rubbish. Last race cars were closerbut piss easy Drs overtakes. This was a pure and utter tyre saving dull as piss water borefest. Hamilton gets a slice of history.... nobody cares at all what else happened
