The trouble is that the ground regulations specifically say that persistent standing is not allowed. The Club would be taking a huge risk if they told stewards not to enforce the regulations as that would be negligence and leave them open for massive damages if anyone was injured. It's ridiculous to scapegoat the stewards in this situation.
All clubs in England have those or similar regulations, yet many clubs - including us at WHL - still allowed for sections to stand by essentially turning a blind eye.
Yes but they have had to train 100s of new stewards for the new stadium. They have to tell them to enforce the regulations. If you want the club to change the regulations that's fine but anyone who picks an argument with a steward is going to lose.
Thank feck Kane wasn't playing. We'd never have comprehensively beaten Huddersfield if he had. Oh wait....
West Ham? 3 points Guaranteed? Its their 3rd cup final of the season...and even when we win it's a difficult game. From 2010 onwards West Ham 1 Spurs 3 (cup) West Ham 0 Spurs 1 Spurs 1 West Ham 1 Spurs 2 West Ham 3 (cup) West Ham 2 Spurs 3 West Ham 1 Spurs 0 Spurs 3 West Ham 2 West Ham 1 Spurs 0...Pochettino's 1st game Spurs 4 West Ham 1 Spurs 2 West Ham 2 West Ham 0 Spurs 1 West Ham 2 Spurs 0 Spurs 1 West Ham 2 (cup) Spurs 0 West Ham 3 West Ham 2 Spurs 3 Spurs 3 West Ham 1 Spurs 0 West Ham 0 West Ham 1 Spurs 0 Played 18 Won 8 Lost 7 Draw 3 For 28 Against 25 In the league only it is... Played 15 Won 7 Lost 5 Drew 3 For 22 Against 19 No way is 3 points guaranteed.
They're playing well against United and could/should be ahead. They may rightfully be the butt of our jokes, but they have some talent there. As they equalise....
I immediately washed my mouth out with soap when I said it Utd just get their 2nd penalty after being 2nd best all game
I know there's the Narrative of Eriksen's head being in Francoville already, but has anyone actually paused to look at it from another angle? Namely this angle... Games he's played 90 minutes: 32 (23 in the Premier League, 6 in the Champions League, 3 in the Season Killer Cup) Games he's been subbed off: 4 (2 in the Premier League, 1 in the Champions League, one in the Season Killer Cup) Games where he's come on the bench: 6 (5 in the Premier League, 1 in the Champions League) Games he's been an unused sub: 2 (1 in the Premier League, 1 in the FA Cup) Games he's not been in the squad: 1 (1 in the FA Cup) Games he's missed: 4 (2 in the Premier League, 1 in the Champions league, 1 in the Season Killer Cup) Total minutes played: 3319 That last statistic is the one that sticks out the most when you compare it to the rest of the squad Toby Alderweireld: 3610 Harry Kane: 3252 Hugo Lloris: 3229 Moussa Sissoko: 2975 Son Heung-min: 2709 Davinson Sanchez: 2662 Kieran Trippier: 2653 Harry Winks: 2651 Lucas Moura: 2471 Jan Vertonghen: 2409 Ben Davies: 2396 Dele Alli: 2233 Danny Rose: 1944 Eric Dier: 1626 Erik Lamela: 1464 Serge Aurier: 1358 Juan Foyth: 1066 Paulo Gazzaniga: 900 Fernando Llorente: 852 Mousa Dembele: 706 KWP: 615 Victor Wanyama: 553 Oliver Skipp: 389 GKN: 121 Vincent Janssen: 0 With the exception of Toby nobody's played more football than he has this season, and compared to the rest of our attacking midfielders he's played considerably more football so is it really a surprise that he appears jaded when h'e played the equivalent of almost seven more games than Son or the best part of ten more than Lucas? Still doesn't excuse his set pieces, mind...
As soon as their starting lineup was announced I wondered why Mooy and Pritchard were on the bench and Billing wasn't in the squad (although if he's injured that would explain it...) The obvious explanation is they're preparing for a few departures once the transfer window opens, with Mooy, Mounie, Depoitre, Jorgensen, Billing and Pritchard all likely to have suitors, so they're prepping the remainder of their squad ahead of next season
Ahhh...a plastic I would say ... just joking...but you ignore me so whats the point? Edit... kinda invalidates the whole post
I agree but in all honesty, Eriksen will have to be sold...we can not lose him in his prime on a free transfer
