One of the weirdest games I've ever seen, it was surreal watching them jog slowly through our defence time and time again. Bafflingly passive defending and it needs sorting immediately.

Wyke was immense but he couldn't do it on his own. I'm reluctant to say it because they were cheating little ****s but Coventry deserved the win and we deserved to lose, you get nothing when you defend like that.

Flanagan who was class before December is ****e now, he should have been dropped today. thought i had seen the last of defending like that last season but lo and behold when we get 2nd they just **** on the supporters, and i might not go back now, and we might play coventry in the play-offs. They did this in 85, 92, 98, etc etc. We are finished now don't try to bull me we have 5 games left eighther

Yes as discussed in a recent topic about CBs... they were abysmal

However does anybody reckon that at times we were defensively playing 4 2 4 and the hapless CBs were left with no cover. Leadbitter is very good with deadball but he has no pace whatsoever

Today was a big shock and it may mean the dreaded playoffs

i am a season card holder and forked out £450+ which i cannot afford, so at least they get my money at the club and we are allowed to express what we think. It is funny how the bad players don't get injured as well at this club. Flannagan has to be dropped for the rest of the season or we will be goosed. On the plus side Coventry play Portsmouth.

was bound to happen with the amount of games the lads have played it , we were sure to have a defeat at some time, even Luton lost and i thought they were invincible,it will be 10 games in a month.we have enough wear with all to go up and we will,

Can't afford it? Don't go. First home defeat of the season and you threaten to stop going? Whether you are serious or on the wind up, you are a ****ing loon!

This makes more sense than JR's post match comments, he did nothing to-day to help out those lads and they are getting all the flack, a re-think on the managers part is required and fast, time is running out.

I think if we all had an equal run in we would still be favourites but given our more difficult games I'm afraid playoffs beckons. We needed a win from one of the last 2. Poor result today after drawing with Burton. Still, nevermind. We'd struggle in the championship anyway.

Aye the routine seemed to be that the midfield let them through no problem then the defence didn't feel the need to put a challenge in. Both to blame.

Probably need one deep lying DM because they haven't got the pace to get back.

Well, it's still in our hands. Although on form that's the slightly worrying thing.

Time for a refresh at the back, with Dunne giving Flanagan a breather. And the midfield to put some tackles in.

Today showed that McGeough is a calming influence in the midfield. He's probably the best we've got sitting deep and breaking up the play. We missed him today.

Folk on here were writing the lads off at 3-1 down before HT and I think that was a bit crass considering we had never been beaten at home all season and we are probably the most resilient side in the league.

We were probably going to get beat again at some point. 3 all season isn't bad and we generally bounce back quickly. Still positive.

Today was our team Sunderland. Build levels of expectations then the usual kick in the nads. Am I surprised by today no not really as we always have to find the hardest way to get somewhere. It’s going to the wire because that’s what we do. Said the games till the end of the season will be madness and today was just a taste of what is to come :) As much as the back four were sh*t there was no cover in front of them. Midfield players just let there runners go. Catts was a huge miss today. Let’s move onto the Doncaster game and get things back in the right direction. Onward and upward!!!
