Doubt China would care Wikileaks is probably banned their like Google YouTube and chips in a metal tin with curry sauce

 

If Wikileaks had written about Abu Ghraib or Khashoggi nobody would give a fck. Post pictures on social media and something the News at 10 can show to the masses and everyone goes into uproar for a few weeks. Even then nothing gets done about it because it's either us or our allies doing it.

The real sad **** in all this is that nobody with any power is actually focusing on or investigating the content of what was released in Wikileaks. It must embolden many a government security agency around the world.

Lets face it, how the fck can we hold the likes of Russia or China to account when we hold no moral high ground. I bet the Ruskies who did for Salisbury must've looked at those Wikileaks and thought nobody gives a fck, game on

I walked past a poster today calling for the freedom of Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange. I'm not suggesting that any credibility of either if these two individuals is questioned with one being a he/she and the other doing an impression of Gandalf but one has to wonder. Interesting that the WikiLeaks just wanted to dig the dirt on the Allies involvement in Middle Eastern conflicts (did snipers shoot kids, did gun ships open up on civilians etc) with every nose-pierced professional protester demanding Governments should not have secrets but it is always about someone else isn't it?

I wonder just how free with personal information these folks would be happy with. It seems to be ok to demand that the US Army coughs up videos of special operations but would the same people be happy to have their personal records snooped on? Got to have secrets, the world wouldn't work without them.

 

I asked the same questions regarding Assange's MO and was told i'm just being silly.

 

Thing is our personal records are been snooped on,removing your search history won't suffice when your door gets kicked in!

 

But what about our rights? Where is the line between me having the right to toss one off to spastic midget porn and some Government agency checking to see if I am about to launch an acid attack on Westminster Bridge?

Where does my right to privacy sit with the right to know about every behind enemy lines mission the US Army undertakes?
