I think we have to play him. We need to let city know we’re prepared to play it up top in order to get out. If we try and pass it through the lines we’ll find ourselves dispossessed regularly and have to deal with City having way more of the ball.
Selling Kane is not an option for us. Nor Son, Moura, Eriksen, Vertonghen, Alli, etc. These lads are part of a squad that, together with Poch, has built a spirit unrivalled to any in a Spurs side during my lifetime. Tinker with that at your peril.

What would have been wrong with 1 or 2 nil? You only said a second ago that that’s what the scoreline was between them and city. We played well today against weak opposition. We controlled the game completely, and 2-0 would have still been a decent result. - Play well, score a couple, and winning the game is absolutely fine. Banging in tonnes of goals is nice, but it’s not a necessity. There’s many other important factors in a 90 minute game of football.
Ok, this is to ALL of you. What is wrong with being realistic about one's football club? I can detect the strengths and the weaknesses and so can some of you but some seem blinded, too insular and can't take realism or criticism of certain players. I'm realistic and that realism is now manifesting itself with results.
