I dont like this spreading matches out over the weekend but an away win on a Friday night certainly sets up the weekend.

Then got two public holidays here next week - one for election day and the other for Good Friday and then a flight back to UK and another Bank Holiday there on Monday all is right with the world.

 

Hates a strong word. It's more frustration because for every good game he has plenty sh/t ones. Players like Joselu and Manquillo are just not good enough, whereas Perez shows he has ability just doesn't do it anywhere near enough

If you want to measure how good our squad is, then going by the Atsu for Almiron swap, there's still some way to go.

I'd drive Atsu to the airport myself - any airport.

 

He's by a country mile one if best players and has been since the day he signed .

The entire team has off days then people single out our better players.

Joselu is better on the bench - its by far his best position.

 

I don't know if Muto is better because he hasn't had a chance. It's fairly obvious Atsu is worse

 

So you'd gamble rather than just play someone that you know is good enough. Muto is crap on the evidence of what I've seen but I'm sure he'd have had his chance if Perez got injured or suspended. It's your opinion and you're entitled to it though mate.

I hadn’t seen his free kick I was late to the party.

 

Just watching the highlights. That free kick by Rondon was just too good. Actually seemed to get late swing to take it onto post/bar. Reckon he must have been polishing one side of the ball.

The goal was a great header as well.

 

Perez has been directly involved in four of Newcastle's past six league goals (three goals, one assist), scoring three of their last five.

 

Fans are magnificent .
