Here's a good thing on it. 2.1% of corners are scored. http://www.sloansportsconference.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/2007.pdf (health warning. it's nerdy)
There are 380 games per season with just over 10 corners per game, so 3,800 corners. The table in the article you quote says that there were 36 goals from corners, so that would be under 1% of corners resulting in a goal. I think you're confused. [EDIT: Just saw VM's post. Yes, you're confusing the numbers exactly as he described.] Vin
All three of our away fixtures are pretty tough (Newcastle, Watford, West Ham). With the exception of Huddersfield on the last day, I’m not sure about these easy fixtures people seem to have in mind for us.
Time to get ready to start the trek south, nervous and excited! A stop over and plenty of beer after the game to celebrate
My nephew won a competition to be one of the flag wavers today, wish he'd have asked me to go instead of his Mum.
Every game is difficult(especially for us), but the time of season and motivations play a part imo. Wolves and Watford are probably on a fairly even keel, but Watford will have a cup final on their minds and unlikely to have any league motivation, that’s what makes this match tougher.
I think this will be one of the best games at St Marys this season, absolutely no idea what way it's going to go either with no result surprising me.
Bournemouth are in freefall at the moment. We couldn't have asked for much more really with our remaining home games. I wouldn't be surprised if we won all our remaining home games.
Winning this game is massive and would really settle any remaining nerves if Cardiff loses. You must know Fate is watching and killing itself laughing and rolling around on the floor. A chance for it to mess with the heads of both Cardiff and Saints' fans.
