Sorry mate that is saying he didn't have much option AFTER Sunderland accepted their offer! He would have to be a complete idiot to turn down 5x his present wage and stand by a club that clearly wanted him out.
Greed? He's doing **** at Sunderland, obviously not enjoying it there, and another club offers him a way out and for 5x his current wage? I would think him ******ed if he didn't leave for that offer....
No I'm commenting on the posted article you thick ****! I do believe there's more to this than is coming out though.
Sorry mate I saw nothing that changed my mind, apart from our manager saying the exact opposite to what he was saying days before.
Bent leaves, Gyan's agent asks for more wages as he knows we a desperate to keep strikers. Quinn refuses, and tells him to wait until after he gets a full season under his belt, Gyan agrees. Gyan head gets turned by the Spurs, Madrid and other rumours. Get through the without a concrete offer coming in (or only offers for less than what we paid originally), so Bruce thinks he has managed to keep him (hence his comments a day or 2 before the game) Out of the blue a UAE team puts a stupid offer in (i am betting 5m in SAFCs coffers, and stupid wages for gyan), Gyan wants out Bruce has to let him go, cos he wont be happy here anymore. devastating blow that Gyan has gone? yes. Did Bruce/Quinn have any choice? no, not imo. Just need to got on with it now with what we have.
