Actually agree with what you're saying, but the mood of the populace is extremely difficult to nail down at the moment, and everyone at the HoP is sh1tting themselves about their & their party's future. There is absolutely no doubt about it. The EU election should allow them to see which way the wind is blowing & adjust their position to getting themselves voted back in at the next GE. Note, not what's best for the country, but best for them getting voted back in, which is clearly more important to them than what's right or wrong.

Gina Miller’s case was strong because the government could not politically raise their strongest argument. Indeed, ironically, her case has saved us from Theresa May’s deal because otherwise the Government would have been able to force it through with no chance of Parliament voting it down and opting for a different Brexit. This case is a pipe dream.
