I think this belongs on the political thread. The North were run by a hypocritical bunch of twats IMO and I think the way your country has and are treating the memories of those who died fighting for their beliefs is disgusting. We will agree to disagree about the US Civil War but I hope you will agree that slavery was and is just fundamentally wrong. I am currently reading a book "Hitler's American friends : the Third Reich's supporters in the United States." The US has much to be embarrassed about over the years, not just the current buffoon in the WH.

The North had slavery until the start of the Civil war, hypocrites the lot of them. They were after the lands. The South wanted an independent nation. I'm just tired of people trying to rewrite history just to appease the BLACK person. I don't agree with slavery, but in a weird why without slavery how would the black person have evolved.
