Bacon and sausages are fatty meats. Probably moreso than pork chops. Ok googled it. Pork Chops 15% fat. Bacon 40% fat. Bacon is King of breakfast meats and is clearly a fatty meat.
Twice as much fat in bacon (at least streaky bacon) than there is in pork chops. Rashers have same fat as pork chops. Bacon is not a lean meat.
Not if you buy sausages from a butcher who make their own, not the crap they sell in packets of 8 for £1 in supermarkets. Our butcher does a great pork and chilli sausage called "Welsh Dragon" superb, unlike the marmalade and pork ones he experimented with last year!
