    The guy is blatantly being punished for exposing corruption and war crimes and other juicy stuff.

    To most on here it's just a meh , lock up the rapist without looking into what happened.

    We are no better than China for freedom of speech and speaking truth to power.

    I very much doubt that's the reason why he's suddenly been extradited.

    Its the US finally getting enough leverage on Ecuador to cough up and our state happily obliging in handing him over.

    How long until "Assange found dead after hanging himself" or "Assange succumbs after years battling cancer" or simply that we'll never hear from the guy in a few years time believing he's in jail whereas in reality he's long since been murdered.

    I don't see any value in killing him, to be honest. They'd probably use him as a honeypot, if anything.
    He does look like **** though, so poor health wouldn't surprise me.

    Can you imagine the stress he's under?

    Can't go anywhere without being arrested and with the knowledge the most powerful people and institutions are actively trying to get hold of you to do, well, who knows.

    Knowing that the freedom of your life will come to an end to be matched with at best prison and solitary confinement.

    The amount of money they've spent trying to get him and the things released by him must mean there are a whole cue of people waiting to have him strung up.
