European elections next. That should be great crack. Trying to get elected to a parliament you don’t want to be in. You really couldn’t make this stuff up
I don't think think the EU budget is discussed until after 31st Oct, which is why I believe the date was selected. In the EU elections you could actually vote for credible candidates and get the EU working the way you would like rather than throwing your arms up and saying it's all too difficult like a set of wimps.
What planet are you on, since when have voters been able to influence what the EU power brokers want.
When have you seriously tried, not you personally, but collectively as the UK apart from that is being negative and throwing your toys out of the pram when you don't get what you want.
It's not a question of getting all that we want, but more a question of getting some of what we want. When you have battered your head against a brick wall for years eventually intelegent people say enough is enough. Anyway I personally like, the rest of the U.K.never voted for the EU in its current form.
That's an old article being rewritten, despite the date. JRM made it clear that Article 50 is written into law and would need an act of Parliament to revoke it. The European court of ****s can say what they like, but article 50 is written into British Law, and requires an act of Parliament to revoke it. Sounds to me the European court of ****s were advising what could happen if Parliament revoked article 50, they didn't say T May could revoke article 50 any time she likes.
Fair enough, but what has the UK wanted from the EU that it hasn't got ? Given that the UK parliament, as it is, doesn't want a no deal exit and the only deal they are being given is the May negotiated deal would people in the UK vote to leave on that basis or would they prefer to stay in the EU, if they were given the chance to decide?. It's seems clear that there these are the only two options available. Even if people would like there to be more.
