Certainly think BOS should be starting a game now, he made a real difference with his pace and movement. F*ck knows how many chances Smith needs to finally get one on target. Overall a bit disappointed we didn't win as we had the chances but a point in light of other results is very handy...
Only saw on the red button but given it wasn't a natural position for him and despite ocaisionally looking a bit nervy I thought he put a solid shift in.
In the context of our 2019 form any point away from home I'll take. Need a win in these final 5 games though.
Match stats Possession 59/41 Shots 7/15 On Target 3/3 Corners 9/3 Fouls 13/15 We win on shots and Fouls.........
We are incredibly lucky that less than 50 points is probably enough to stay up this season. This league is seriously crap.
I'd take a point at home to Swansea now. They're a good side. Hopefully get 3 or 4 points from our remaining home games and that will be enough.
Absolute dog **** of a game, but in the context of where we are it's an away point and a clean sheet. I think Millwall will be saying exactly the same thing ( not the away bit obviously. )
Sounds like there's been trouble after the match, all trains at South Bermondsey cancelled and apparently both sets of fans weren't separated after the game. Police horses and vans all over Rotherhithe New Road...
An added bonus was that South Bermondsey was shut so had a relaxing walk with some friendly South London chaps to Surrey Quays.
A match report by Dave McIntyre. Dave is certainly more concise than Clive. It did not take long for him to write it. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/millwall-v-qpr-football-championship-100419
Did this even need a match report? - Both teams smashed the ball forwards as hard as possible. - Bright came on and fluffed the game’s big chance but looked lively. He will be inexplicably left out again on Saturday.
thankful for the point, thought we'd get a mauling, although I didn't think it was possible Millwall would be as bad as us
Perhaps BOS will take Wells place from the start if we set up like last night. The set up worked well enough, but then maybe whoever's Manager willl want to change it a bit for Swansea. Scowen was MOM for me last night - best I've seen from him too.
Yes he’s got a lot more license alongside Cameron who wasn’t the complete clusterfuck he was on Saturday. Would rather it was BOS and Wells. Not that Smith did a lot wrong.
I don’t really know what to say about that game. I am only glad I couldn’t go. Although Millwall are dreadful and really looked poor I think we have some major problems. We ran around like headless chickens and couldn’t pass the ball or were reduced to hoof ball. I hadn’t realised that we have become so ****e so quickly. Shocking performance for a Championship team.
