All that Reading time wasting paid off for them in the end.

Ah well, 1 point is better than none, considering how lethargic the performance was

Just annoying as all we had to do was keep the ball for a few more seconds, but I guess a point will have to do.

It could have been worse. We're not too much worse off. Sheff. Utd could only draw too. Lets hope we're better at Wigan on Sunday.

Think we looked better when Vrančić came on, so I'm hoping he'll start against Wigan.

Unfortunately I think Reading were too compact and physical for Cantwell tonight. He didn’t do anything wrong but he just doesn’t have Buendias energy

I was swearing at Steiperman quite a bit for just running it out of play instead of taking it to the corner.
Such a lethargic performance, why both Lewis and Henandez found their worst game in months in this same gsme at least in part must go as credit to Reading.
Once again I'm frustrated with Farkes use of the bench. Subs were too late, Vrancic for me came on and looked a cut above straight away. Farke has worked miracles for us but if he has an Achilles heel for me it's his unwillingness to try to use the bench to change the game until so late.
Then if it finishes 30 secs earlier he's a genius again.

    Bah!

Wigan, fighting to stay up, will present a similar challenge. Vrancic or Leitner must start at the weekend imo.

To be fair the subs almost paid off, it was just the defending and not retaining the ball that let us down.

Not a fan of taking it into the corner at all, we had them on the ropes we should have put the game to bed with a third, instead we end up camped in our own box

Still 7pts above Sheffield United and 5 games to go, on wards and upwards.

But Steiperman attacked the area, ran out of space lost it without being challenged. They kicked it long, got in our half, gave the scorer the freedom of Norwich, when had Steiperman with a minute remaining taken it to the corner it may never have reached our half again. Klose coming on says seeing it out is priority 1 so make the smart and professional play.
It's not like its Steipermans fault, plenty of opportunity to defend it from him giving it away to the finish.

    Bah!
