Nobody comes near Messi. At my age I’ve seen most of the ‘greats’ and the only one who comes remotely near is Maradona. But Messi is better.

The only codicil I would add is that I’d like to have seen more of Georgie Best without the booze and drugs. He was phenomenally talented - and he had two feet.
