£65 is a lot of money mate. I appreciate it’s a CL QF etc, but that will have put a lot of people off. Not Spurs fans obviously, last night anyway, but you asked the question whether City’s real fans were being pushed out; I’d say at £65 a ticket, many probably were. Was chatting to a Spurs supporting mate the other day who had a ticket for last night; he said he won’t be going to many games next season at the sort of prices being asked. It’s not just your club by any means - working people are getting pushed out of football everywhere. In the end I can see that killing the game (but I’ve been saying that for years and it hasn’t happened so far, so what do I know?)
Absolutely agree. I've seen some excellent attendances in non league football, and it does make you wonder if football fans are turning to the lower leagues for their cheaper footballing fix. Clubs such as Leyton Orient and Wrexham have been getting gates in excess of 5,000 in the National League. Bradford City are again for next season selling adult season tickets for £150, League One/Two football, not a bad ground or club, apart from having a shhite season. And I'm sure League One Sunderland will continue to out sell some Premier League clubs.
Nothing will change though especially with the big clubs as the demand for tickets is so high, I can't afford it anymore myself and 1 other adult and 1 kid plus travelling and food is just not an option. City are just mugs, they should be throwing tickets at local schools and getting the kids in for free and looking to build a new generation of fans other than a half empty stadium.
It's funny eh, normally you only have to blow on a player and they fall down like a sack of potatoes, but somehow Delph manage to stay on two feet throughout the challenge, no intent, no sireeeeee.
Im pretty sure kane hasnt intentionally gone to damage his own ankle there so i agree no intent there bro
So when the missus is in the bath and you can’t wait any longer for a dump, she can let you know the state of your stool. Important for catching things like bowel cancer early.
The intent is from Delph - Kane’s tackle was rash, but it looks to me like Delph deliberately stamped on him in retaliation.
