Again a professional performance, we could have gone all out and put five past them and have been tired on Sunday, or we score two, which should be more than enough and wander round for 45 minutes and conserve energy. It's what we've done through out the champions League this season, just enough to get through.
Lovren had a good passing game. However if there is a reason that porto lump was getting chances, it is Lovren reverting to dropping off whenever a long ball is played. He doesnt trust the offside trap hence keeps playing them on.
Hmmm. Much harder than it should have been - they had a lot more of the ball in our third than I expected. Still, it ought to be enough, I think we can score there.

On the ref He was terrible Got loads wrong both sides Loads of really obvious throws and corners given wrongly On the red to Salah I think he was being pulled back which is how he ended side on with his leg a bit high Yellow maybe but not straight red imho
Ref was awful tonight, but we must not detract from the great display from var, which did absolutely **** all but hold the game up, and still get decision wrong
It was like watching an NFL game. Var is supposed to help refs out but it is still open to subjective decision making. So far Var is just a newer, slower, just-as-****ty referee.
I think the best way to describe the ref would be inconsistent, var just leads to multiple replays of obvious calls as if it's important
I'd like to see the mane goal again, that was so close and they just went on the side of caution bevabec we where already two up.
