With Porto committing more players going forward I can see us grabbing a hatful. Just need to make sure we take our chances when they come as I think we'll be lucky to keep a clean sheet
An away goal would still make the second leg potentially uncomfortable, so still need to stay strong at back. City haven't killed Spurs off yet, I'm sure they eventually will... But as if Spurs gets through this with a respectable score it will put pressure on City for their next two encounters with Spurs... Meaning they can't rest up... Therefore hoping Spurs do well today, although City getting through to the Semis would ultimately be better for our league ambitions
Enjoyed that (as a neutral should be a great watch with both teams going for it and the ref enjoys watching a tackle fly in ) just wish we had got the 3rd but having said that they should really have at least 1. Thought Keita started really well and did good covering and ball winning and Henderson on the other side showed how to press and pass. My fav bit , apart from the pair of well crafted goals , was Lovren clobbering the ball and man away from goal near the end .
I like the balance more of this midfield, Henderson and Fabinho is a nice combination, Keita playing decent too, but sometimes he needs to use his body better and shield the ball, he can invite the counter but that is only a minor gripe, at least he is getting in the box and getting in and around play around the box.
